126 gram Nugget
Quietly - Quietly
The new Garrett LS P.I. metal detector has arrived on the market
and I believe , the first threat or competition to the Australian made Minelab. As an
owner of both brands, I can say that I were and am satisfied with the new Garrett LS.
After attending a demo on the Garrett LS, I returned home not
really impressed with it. So with phone calls and internet info, I purchased a Garrett LS
to field test myself, and hopefully future beach and wet area fun.
It arrived on Friday night by post. After assembly and
reading with the LS in hand, I was looking forward to tests on Saturday.
On Saturday, after home tests on different targets, I headed
out for a couple of hours. Like anything new, I knew I would have to learn to drive it.
First blood was extracted from 39 cms and weighed in at a lovely 126 grams 35
minutes after my arrival. Second was taken from 9 cms weighing 1.1 grams.
On my way home, I let a detecting mate know. He fiddled a bit
and I believe we gained a better depth in air testing than before I went out, so I am
quiet sure as I learn to drive it, I will no doubt gain the experience that we need to
extract the best results.
To any future owners, forget your present way of thinking
with your P.I. unit, and set up with a clean mind, and Im sure that you will be
quietly surprised.
Thanks Mr. Garrett.
Regards, Syd.
